91´«Ã½ is a complex organization, and a very wide variety of functions are necessary for us to succeed in our mission to provide a rigorous education for our students that prepares them for a life of purpose. Each position is assigned a particular grade/classification. The classification system is one of many tools used to maintain a sense of fairness in compensation across the range of different positions. Positions are graded based on factors such as the education and experience required, organizational impact, complexity of skills, and supervision responsibilities. Positions that are similar in terms of these factors are grouped into the same pay grades. These pay grades have a "range" of pay that is appropriate for the types of positions in that group and is reflective of market salary information. The pay ranges shown below are helpful in considering hiring ranges for new employees and also provide existing employees with some indication of the potential for growth over time. If you want to know the grade of your position or the grade of a vacant position, you are welcome to contact Human Resources.
