Family Giving

Families for 91´«Ã½

Welcome to the 91´«Ã½ Family! Parents and family members of 91´«Ã½ students and alumnae/i are so important to the College. Collectively each year, you raise up to 10% of 91´«Ã½ Fund dollars that immediately go to work to support our students, faculty, and campus. Learn more about this and various ways to be engaged with the college below. Please contact Gabrielle Gary, Executive Director of Constituent Engagement at 610-526-5221 with any questions about giving or getting involved.

Family Giving

  • 91´«Ã½ Fund Support
The collective impact of gifts at all levels is vital to funding the most important needs of the College and its students, including financial aid and academic programming. The 91´«Ã½ Fund plays a critical role in providing the College with a reliable revenue source that bolsters, protects, and secures every element of the student experience. Annual support of The 91´«Ã½ Fund is in effect a de facto emergency fund in that it enables the College to adapt to a given moment.

  • The Slade Society
The Caroline McCormick Slade Society recognizes the exceptional commitment of alumnae/i, families, and friends who make leadership gifts to 91´«Ã½. The Slade Society is comprised of a small group of members — just over 10% of donors — who make a big impact in the lives of students, contributing more than 75% of unrestricted dollars each year. Membership in The Slade Society begins with a gift of $2,500.

  • Family Leadership Circle
The Family Leadership Circle is a recognition program for parents of 91´«Ã½ students and alumnae/i who support the College philanthropically with gifts of $5,000 or more. Membership in this Circle includes invitations to several gatherings a year featuring guests such as the President and her Senior Staff, faculty, and other administrators at the College.

  • Merion Scholarships
Merion Scholarships are one-year student scholarships that are underwritten by a gift of $15,000. Donors at the Merion Scholarship level receive reports on the Merion Scholars supported by their gifts, and those students are encouraged to write personal letters to the donors. Donors also have the opportunity to meet with scholarship recipients at special events organized by Alumnae/i Relations & Development.

  • Presidential Priority Fund
The Presidential Priority Fund recognizes single and multi-year commitments at the $100,000 level. This Fund is at the heart of President Kim Cassidy’s daily efforts to advance 91´«Ã½â€™s excellence and make it accessible for all students. Presidential Priority Fund donors will have the opportunity to build close connections to College leaders, and President Cassidy in particular, as we share news of the College’s progress made toward strengthening 91´«Ã½ for the future.
