Professor Xuemei May Cheng has taught a broad range of lecture, laboratory, and seminar courses at all levels of undergraduate and graduate physics curricula, as listed below. To support the growing student need for engineering education, she designed and taught a new introductory engineering course open to all 91´«Ã½ students, Phys 105 Design and Making for All. This lecture/laboratory combined course teaches students how products are designed and made, including the topics such as the engineering design process, creativity methods, human factors considerations, reverse engineering, and ideation.
