First, indicate your interest in 91传媒 aid and/or federal aid on your admissions application. If you're planning to borrow federal aid, you can fill out the FAFSA as soon as it opens in October.

- Students pay for their graduate education with a combination of a 91传媒 Scholarship awarded at the time of admission to the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and .
- Students do not have to apply for federal student loans to receive the 91传媒 Social Work scholarship.
- International students are also eligible for the Social Work Scholarship.

- 91传媒 Social Work Scholarships are awarded throughout the admissions cycle from August 1 to April 15 and students can apply for federal student loans beginning on October 1 of each academic year. Applicants are considered for scholarships and federal aid throughout the rolling admissions cycle.
- Students will need to reapply for financial aid each year and should anticipate the same Social Work Scholarship unless their financial situation has changed.
- Tuition costs are based on a per course rate, so a student鈥檚 tuition is based on the number of courses they are taking per semester and not on their part-time or full-time status.
- It takes 18 courses to complete the MSS degree at the GSSWSR. One course is equal to one credit.
Students can apply for on-campus jobs through the College鈥檚 Student Employment Page, and there are also opportunities for students to assist GSSWSR faculty with their grant-funded research. Students are encouraged to reach out to faculty directly to learn more. These positions do not offset the cost of tuition but provide additional income to offset expenses.
