My name is Tracy Weber, and I look forward to working with you as you embark on your study abroad journey! As the College’s Director of Global Education, I am responsible for undergraduate study abroad, international exchange agreements, and thinking strategically about global education at the College. Previously I developed and managed study abroad and global internship programs at University of California Berkeley and the George Washington University, where I launched their London Study Center. I have worked with incoming international scholars through the Fulbright and Sister City programs, and studied abroad in Switzerland and Russia. I also spent three years in Japan through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET) and upon my return to the U.S. served in the political section of the Japanese Embassy in Washington D.C. I hold a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in International Communication from American University’s School of International Service. In addition to my professional interests in intercultural communication, peace and conflict resolution, and international education, I love modern art, being out in nature – hiking, kayaking, swimming – and cooking, in particular exploring recipes from my grandmother’s native Finland.

My name is Gabby Sugarman (she/her) and I am the Program Coordinator of Global Education here at 91´«Ã½. My role supports both study abroad and fellowships, including through student advising, assisting with the application process, and helping manage communications and programming. Previously, I was a French teacher at a local private school, where I coordinated the annual middle school trip to Québec and assisted with the high school French Exchange Program. I am also a 91´«Ã½ alum, having received my B.A./M.A. in French and Francophone Studies. As a student, I spent a fall semester in Paris through APA, and completed graduate coursework at 91´«Ã½â€™s Institut d’Avignon. When not at work, I have a wide range of interests and hobbies including art, cooking and baking, spending time in nature, reading, and hanging out with my cat, Amélie.
Study Abroad Student Coordinators
Nisha Marino
Hello! My name is Nisha Marino, and I'm a senior at 91´«Ã½. I'm majoring in Political Science and minoring in Latin American/Iberian/Latino/a Studies. I spent my Fall 2022 semester with IFSA-Cuba, living with a wonderful host family and studying at the University of Havana. I spent three and a half months in Cuba, where all my classes were in Spanish, and I got multiple opportunities to travel around Cuba outside of Havana. I'm very excited to be here this semester, so please don't hesitate to come by the SASC desk to chat!
Holly Evans
My name is Holly Evans and I am one of the study abroad student coordinators here at 91´«Ã½. I am a senior sociology major and a political science and philosophy double minor. I studied abroad at the University of Bristol in England through their general pathway program. Despite this, I only took philosophy courses in order to finish my philosophy minor while abroad. I adored my time in England and made lifelong friends with both fellow study abroad students and full-time students at Bristol. As an athlete at 91´«Ã½, I found ways to balance studying active, my studies, traveling, and making the most of my experience!
