Your Impact
Here are just a few ways donors have supported our students, faculty, and campus:
Growing Student Opportunity

- Recent donors have established over 100 new scholarships and supported more than 1,000 summer internships.
- A $10 million gift helped launch 91´«Ã½'s reimagined Career and Civic Engagement Center.
Supporting Faculty Innovation
- Gifts helped fund the International Initiatives Grant program and the 360° Course Clusters offerings, where faculty can research and teach complex, interdisciplinary topics.
- Recent donorship endowed six faculty positions including in Environmental Studies, Chemistry, International Studies, and History of Art.
- Increases in faculty funding supported the creation of new majors in Environmental Studies, International Studies, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Neuroscience and new minors in Health Studies, Museum Studies, and Data Science.
Funding Campus Renovation
- We have renovated Park Science Center to create new and flexible teaching and research spaces, increase student study spaces, launch a maker space, and dramatically open up the building with the Johanna Alderfer Harris ‘51 Atrium.
- We constructed a new dormitory with 101 single rooms and the Enid Cook ’31 Center, a residential space that also houses the Black Cultural Center (formerly in Perry House).
- We built the Student Life and Wellness Center to house our medical and counseling center, our career and civic engagement center, our multicultural center, and religious and spiritual life.
